College Senior Collection Fashion Show

Hello! My name is Michael Ngo. I'm a Fashion Design student at the Art Institute of Los Angeles and after years and years of dreaming, my hard work & dedication to my art will finally pay off. I'm extremely proud to say that I will be graduating in the Fall of this year and that I’m one step closer from turning these dreams into my reality.

I'm currently working on completely designing and creating my Senior Collection titled “SHINOBI BALLROOM” for my first Fashion Show on September 20, 2014 (I'm getting major goosebumps just typing this)! I’ve spent the past few months conceptually & technically designing all the looks and now I’m in the final stage of creating and producing the actual garments for the show.

Those of you who know me, know that I’m quite the eccentric character; that I would do anything for my loved ones; and that I take tremendous pride in my creativity and my ability to dream.

To those of you who don’t know me, I want you to know that I pour all my heart and soul into everything single I do and that I’ll work relentlessly until I reach my goals.

But what most people don’t know is; I’m not very good at asking for help.

So here’s the kicker. As of July 25, 2014 I will no longer be employed and I will be parting ways with my sales job of 8 years in order to take care of some personal and family matters.

This is where you come in. This is where I need to ask you for your help.

Since I will no longer have a stable income before the show, I need help raising money so that I am able to completely create my SHINOBI BALLROOM collection.

The funds raised will help pay for fabrics, supplies, embellishments, creative materials, media materials and anything that will make this collection complete and ready to be unveiled on September 20, 2014.

The estimated goal is $1500. Any and all funds raised beyond the goal will be put towards tuition, bills, and my Student Loan debt so that I can fully focus on being a full-time dream chaser.

The Fashion Show is less than 9 weeks away, which means I needed to start collection production LAST WEEK! So please help by donating whatever you can or by spreading this campaign around social media!

Every person that contributes will be listed as a Collection Contributor on the SHINOBI BALLROOM page of my website. For large contributions, I will work with the contributor to design and create a piece made for them to show my upmost appreciation for their help.

Regardless of how small or large your contribution is (even if you are unable to donate, a share on social media would greatly help), I want you to know that I am eternally honored and grateful for your support.

Details for the actual Fashion Show where I will debuting the collection are soon to come. All thats confirmed is that it will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Santa Monica and I would love to invite you all!
