<div>Well, the time has come to ask for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn't easy. And I don't like putting our business out there like this but I'm unsure where else to turn.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As some of you know, Justus has been chronically ill since he was a year old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He officially received a diagnosis of common variable immunodeficiency this year and has received Hizentra treatments since 2020 to keep him well and out of the hospital. And they work!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We lost Medicaid June 30th and are in the process of applying for his TEFRA coverage that will help us pay for his treatments. In the meantime, his copays are $1500 a month for these treatments. Yes, this is WITH insurance. Without these treatments, he will return to being in and out of the hospital monthly with every virus under the sun. Additionally, his asthma is no longer controlled and he requires his steroid inhaler again as well. We can't let him miss these treatments. CVID has a life expectancy of 46 years old for individuals that get recurrent lung infections.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We should have our TEFRA decision in the next 3 months, so I am just looking for enough to cover the copays until then.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for anyone that helps financially, through prayer, or by sharing. It is all appreciated.
