Immunodeficiency UK

Do you want to join me in making a difference? Hello friends, in 2017 I lost my uncle to CVID a disease that he was struggling with for the majority of his life. Common Variable Immune Deficiency disease increases the risk of infectious diseases due to the body not being able to produce sufficient numbers of antibodies, and is managed via immunoglobulin infusions, but unfortunately there is no cure. My Dad also suffers from CVID and for all of my life I’ve watched him have to inject himself with medication and struggle constantly with different infections each one leaving him a bit weaker. So in September I will be doing a skydive to raise money for immunodeficiency UK, a charity that focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by primary and secondary immunodeficiency. I love both my uncle Martin and my Dad so much and I hope to show that in the money I’m able to raise for them and all the others across the UK affected by this disease.
