Immigration medical exam

Petar and I have been in an ongoing relationship for six years. We lived together in Canada for four of those years and have applied for a Spousal visa so that we may continue to be together. As family and friends know, this application was very costly (over $1000) and took us a lot of time and effort to put together. 

Right now however, we need your help. I recently received a letter from Canada immigration stating that I need to complete a medical exam for our application to be considered. Easy, right? So I went ahead and made the appointment. Then I looked at the fees and had a heart attack: It will cost us over $600 to complete this exam and none of the fees are covered by Medicare or immigration. What’s especially difficult is that immigration have given me a time frame of less than 30 days, meaning that we don’t have time to save on our current income. Basically if we can’t come up with the money before December 23, our Spousal visa will likely be cancelled - meaning that I won’t be able to return to Canada. It’s incredibly saddening to know that years of hard work could be thrown away over a mere medical bill. 

I know money is tight right now owing to the holiday season, so any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated x
