Immacolata Forte College Book Fund

December 28th marks my Nonna’s birthday. She would have turned 87 years old this year. Unfortunately, we lost her in May of this year to cancer. To keep my Nonna’s memory alive, I decided to start a small, annual scholarship in her name for one of my graduating seniors who has studied Italian (my Nonna’s native tongue) for multiple years and has been an active member of our school’s Italian Club. My Nonna always encouraged me, my sister, and cousins to do well in school, and it is my hope that the Immacolata Forte College Book Fund will do the same for one of my college-bound students by helping him or her with the cost of textbooks. I already donated $1,000. Who else is willing to contribute?
