Imberhorne Tanzania Exchange Trip 2020

Students at Minaki School in Tanzania benefit from these funds which will invest in the upkeep and development of their school buildings and the supply of educational resources. Funds will also pay for the return visit by a party from Minaki school. The Minaki school benefits from the teaching program that Imberhorne students deliver and the orphanage in Kisarawe benefits from gifts, supplies and time spent with the children.

Imberhone students will hugely benefit from this program by experiencing life as a young person in Tanzania and gaining a valuable perspective on cultural differences and similarities. Another important part of this trip is the experience of different wildlife and landscapes that exist in Tanzania. We hope we can share this extraordinary cultural experience, lessons and insight into the natural world with our peers and community. 

As individuals, we will all benefit a greater perspective on life and adventure, as we learn more about the lives of others in different cultures and countries in the world.

This trip of 12 imberhorne students will commence in October 2020. So funds would need to be raised by then.

Fundraising for this trip would mean a great deal, not only for imberhorne students but also the students in Minaki Junior school, children in the orphanage and our exchange students from Minaki who will come to visit us in 2021.
