New computer for studio, gift old one to charity

Hi everybody,  for those of you who don't know me I am a songwriter and am looking to record my first project. Moreover I am a DJ/Designer and create free content online.

Like many of us I have unfortunately lost my main source of income which has left me jobless like many people I know. I'm trying to look on the brighter side of things,  I now have time to write and record music.

Music is my passion and thankfully it's helped me keep sane over the past year. I aim to take this opportunity to continue being productive, and having a trustworthy computer that turns on without crashing in the middle of recording songs would greatly help the creative process. I am also looking to start a publishing company to release content independently with the premise on helping other artists do the same. Maintaining websites, designing, recording and studying online courses would all benefit by having an upgrade whilst helping to get things done a LOT faster =) 

My intention is to spend what's  needed on refurbishing my old horse and gifting it to a young folks home or a young musician who finds themselves in the same spot as I did when I was starting out. Pay it forward.
