Surgery to protect organ functions

Dear friends and who ever is taking the time to read this, My name is Zenaida. I am 57 years old and I am a Montessori teacher . Montessori is my passion. Right now I am employed as a teacher and have been for 35 years. I have recently lost my husband. Because of health issues due to me being over weight, it has become very difficult for me to be the same as I once was before. My weight has been an issue and brought up other health issues such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Taking medication has also affected my kidneys and liver. I know I have touched many lives through out my life as a teacher and I am now asking for your much needed help.  I tried to apply to get approved by my insurance to get a lap band surgery, but unfortunately have been denied. I would appreciate even the smallest amount to help me raise money for my lap band procedure. Thank you all!
