<div>My name is Alejandra Nayeli Garcia; I go by Nelly. I am 24 years old.  In 2020 i was 19 years old and when I got diagnosed with Ependymoma Cancer (a rare type of cancer). This is a cancer normally found in the Brain and Spinal Area. My Ependymoma cancer was found in my Abdominal/ Pelvic Area. With the cancer in my abdominal/pelvic area there is not many options for me. Many doctors have told me there is nothing they can do for me because of the tumor is around my organs. I had 2 surgeries and been through 3 Chemo Sessions. I even had to get a Hysterectomy in hopes this will give the Doctor a chance to have options to operate on me. I have the local doctor here contact other doctors, but it is the same outcome. Due to the location around my organs the surgery is a very high risk. They all tell me the same thing; nothing can be done. They recommend I go to MD Anderson in Houston or Mexico. MD Anderson does not take my health insurance. I have tried to switch it but due to my age and my health condition I don't really have much option.

<div>Being diagnosed at a young age i was determined to fight for my life. I was young, I had so much to experience, my journey was not over. How could it be over if it just started. I did fight, i did all and any treatments to fight for my life. I am going to win and have a beautiful life. I am young and my journey is not over. I am going to have my own children and break the cycles. I will experience so much in life, the good and the bad.

<div>Up until the age of 7 years old, I had a life. I was a child with no worries, I was innocent. My mom was a mom to me. At the age 7, my mother's boyfriend molested me until I was 14 years old. When I finally realized I needed to tell someone. My mother didn't want anything to do with me. She also didn't want me to have anything to do with my brother or sister. I lost everything because of what a grown man did to me for 7 years. Everyone hated me from his family but my family as well.  I was alone, with little support. I lost everything and everyone because I spoke up. Still to this day i have no contact with any of my family members. I then lived with my dad from the ages 14-18.

<div>I fought; I want to and also want to give up. My life has been hard. Now I am at the point in my life where it just seems like nothing can be done for my cancer. Everything that has been done to me and now this. Maybe I am not supposed to be here in this life as i thought. I want to give up, i feel like i have nothing to fight for and what's the point of fighting? I don't have my family, my mom, or siblings. I just want to give up. I have given up. I have felt like i have no fight left in me. I am emotionally, spiritually and mentally empty. I just feel at times there is no point anymore. I have hit rock bottom. Every day is a battle. I look at what i have and who i have compared to what has happened, who i lost. Which is why i am starting this GoFundMe.

<div>God has woken me up every day and i am awake today. I see the blessings; opportunities and the people God has sent to walk this journey with me. I want to fight. If i am told to go to MD Anderson or Mexico for treatment, then i want to take any opportunity God is giving me. I will not lose my faith; I DO have a reason to fight. I have an amazing family through my boyfriend Rocky who has been the biggest blessing of my life. God knew i would need him so i won't give up. He has picked me up on my hardest days. He has given up with me; he hit rock bottom with me. He goes through it all with me but always picks me up and makes me fight. Rocky my boyfriend is 26 years old. This shouldn't be his life; he could have a different life, kids. He doesn't have to go through this with me. Rocky will always choose me and this journey with me. That is what makes me know i can't give up because i see what GOD has blessed me with. God sent me this man so i wouldn't give up. God gave me a reason, love and support. Not only did God send Rocky to me, but he also sent me his family. A family i can call my family. I have brothers and sisters.

<div>God gave me back everything i lost. I will not give up without a fight and no matter what happens. I want the opportunity to take advantage of MD Anderson or Mexico to fight for my life because i want to live and be happy. Most importantly i want my family to be at peace if God calls me home, that we fought together and we did everything we could.
