Hi, my name is Noodle, kind of cute huh, and I am just a tiny baby.
I was one of the lucky ones to be born inside after my mother was rescued from living on the streets. I was raised in a home by a very kind lady who volunteers for Pet Patrol. We did really well for a long time, we were very active and mobile and climbing onto things all the time. Just as we are about to get our first vaccines the foster mom mentions that I had diarrhea so no vaccines that day for me. I wasn’t feeling very good and starting to go off my food. I was taken to the vet. They checked me over and sent me home with medication to balance my bowels, help me have an appetite, and they asked that I stay at the Pet Patrol sanctuary where I would receive fluids if I needed them.
One by one, my siblings developed the same health issues and joined me. After not having any results from the medication, we were all taken to the vet where we were hooked up to IV fluids and had antibiotics. We were being syringe fed and had diagnostics done. Four days later we weren’t getting any better. We were struggling.
On average it costs $1000 per cat per week to be hooked up on IV fluids at the vet clinic with medication. That does not include diagnostics. I am still at the clinic and being the tiniest one I am actually doing better than my siblings. The special test has been sent out to find out what is wrong with us. That test alone costs $250. We hope It will tell us what is happening and then we will be on the road to recovery. Would you be able to help in anyway by donating to our vet care? Pet Patrol simply can’t afford the huge vet bill that they will have shortly. Anything would be very helpful.
