I’m running 100 miles this April to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer.
This cause means everything to me. Like so many others, I’ve seen the pain and heartbreak cancer brings to families—including my own right now. It’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and when I saw the opportunity to fundraise for cancer awareness and prevention, it clicked. As a daily runner, I constantly push my body to its limits to show what’s possible when we take control of our minds. So I decided: I’m going to put that drive to work for something bigger than myself.
Despite currently recovering from a knee injury, I’m committed to running 100+ miles in April with the goal of raising $1,000+ to support cancer research, treatment, and prevention through the American Cancer Society. Every step I take is for the fighters, the survivors, and the loved ones we’ve lost.
Here’s how you can help:
• Donate—every dollar counts, and every bit helps bring us closer to a cure.
• Share this page with your friends, family, or on social media—it makes a huge difference.
• Follow my journey: I’ll be posting my runs and progress on Instagram @Dreboutside and Strava @AndreasDijmarescu.
I’m incredibly grateful for your support—let’s fight cancer together, one mile at a time.
