I'm Recording My First Full-Length Album!

Hi! I'm Lindsay McCargar. I am a musician based in Asheville, NC. In 2020 I released my first EP called Love Me Easy. I am now ready to take on a full-length album!

The only thing holding me back is that I am self-financing it. As a single self-employed parent with one child in college now (gulp), this is a challenge. But I am up for the challenge! I am also very grateful for how my community has supported me over the last few years. It is truly humbling.

Any donations from this fundraiser will go directly to the producer and musicians. I have chosen to work with local musicians in Asheville this time, so your contribution will help support some very talented folks here in Asheville.

Love Me Easy was a triumph for me as it was my first time in the studio and marked a return to music after a long break of about 15 years. I will happily send you an mp3 or CD version of my EP if you donate to this fundraiser.

Initial Milestones:

I know I set the goal of this fundraiser pretty high, but I honestly am not sure how it will play out. I will make updates as we go! Here are some of my initial milestones and the smaller goals associated.

1 - DONE! Record first round of drums - $110 in donations applied - thank you!

2 - DONE! Record first round of keys and bass - $45 in donations applied - thank you!

3 - DONE! More keys and bass and clarinets - $120 in donations applied

4 - DONE! More bass and song arrangement - $50 in donations applied

5 - DONE! Record first round of guitar - $120 in donations applied
