Hello everyone.
My name is Akram,I am 43 years of age I came to Australia 2011 I left Iraq not by choice and I left behind my wife pregnant and 2 kids. Whatever I say you can’t imagine how I miss them - my third child I haven’t met him yet. The Department of Immigration of Australia they’ve rejected my case multiple of times. Finally I got granted a permanent residency visa in August 2023. This means that my family can finally come to Australia. If you ask why do I need your help I’m not working?  I used to work from 2012 till 2015,then my Visa status not allowed me to work till 2017. After that I worked only 3 years then I can’t do it anymore because I have been through a lot. I lost my brother and my uncle and my auntie and my grandma. It’s really affected my mind it’s not easy for me I feel like I’m not alive anymore and I get sick most of the time. I really need my family here with me. I can’t go to Iraq anymore, my family back home in Iraq they have nothing they can’t travel because they have no money. They need my help too, which is why I’m asking. I’m very tired, after 12 years not seen my family it’s too much. I can’t tell you guys how I live right now, I can’t describe my feeling by words. After 12 years of separation I just want to see them and be happy. I hope you can understand. I have a place to live but I feel like I am homeless and sometimes hopeless and useless and empty inside.  Honestly I really really need your help. I don’t know if there’s anything more I can say. I have been honest and all I say is the truth only. The money will be used to pay legal fees and for visa applications.
