<div>Nous sommes un groupe solidaire composé de 325 F: Cuisine de Madagascar (Restaurant malgache à Montréal), Wilthia Planification et autres partenaires engagés. Ensemble, nous lançons cette collecte de fonds pour venir en aide à des familles qui ont été gravement affectées par le passage du <strong>cyclone Gezani</strong>, le 10 février 2026 à Toamasina (Madagascar), avec des rafales de vent atteignant jusqu'à <strong>250 km/h</strong>. Près de <strong>75% de Toamasina</strong>, la deuxième ville du pays, a été affectée.

<div>De nombreuses personnes <strong>ont tout perdu</strong> : maisons détruites, toits arrachés, vêtements et provisions emportés par la tempête. Plusieurs vivent dans l’urgence, sans abri, ni ressources. Les enfants et les familles les plus vulnérables ont besoin d’un soutien immédiat et concret. Nous avons identifié des familles directement touchées par le cyclone, pour lesquelles cette aide représentera un soutien essentiel dans les jours et semaines à venir.

<div><strong>Objectif de la collecte</strong>

<div>Les fonds recueillis seront utilisés en priorité pour :

<div>· Fournir nourriture, eau potable, kits d'urgence et vêtements essentiels

<div>· Offrir des abris temporaires et installations de toits
</div>

<div>· Contribuer à renforcer la sécurité des maisons, pour assurer la sécurité et la dignité des familles soutenues

<div>Une famille de 5 personnes consomme pour environ 3$ de riz par jour.

<div><strong>Partenariat avec Association Clou de Girofle sur place</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>Nous collaborons également avec des responsables de l’Association Clou de Girofle, qui sont présents actuellement sur le terrain à Toamasina et travaillent directement auprès des familles affectées pour organiser l’aide locale et assurer une distribution transparente et efficace de vos généreuses contributions.

<div>Si la somme collectée dépasse les besoins prioritaires des familles identifiés, l’excédent sera confié à l’Association Clou de Girofle (47 rue de Chartres, 91400 Orsay, France), une association de solidarité liée à la communauté malgache, pour aider d’autres familles sinistrées à Toamasina ou financer des initiatives de soutien complémentaires sur place.

<div>We are a solidarity group composed of 325 F: Cuisine de Madagascar (Malagasy restaurant in Montreal), Wilthia Planification, and other committed partners. Together, we are launching this fundraising campaign to support families who have been severely affected by <strong>Cyclone Gezani,</strong> which struck Toamasina (Madagascar) on February 10, 2026, with wind gusts reaching <strong>up to 250 km/h</strong>. Nearly 75% of Toamasina, the country’s second largest city, was impacted.

<div>Many people have lost everything: homes destroyed, roofs torn off, clothing and food supplies swept away by the storm. Several families are living in emergency conditions, without shelter or resources. Children and the most vulnerable families need immediate and concrete support. We have identified families directly affected by the cyclone for whom this assistance will represent essential support in the days and weeks ahead.

<div>The funds collected will be primarily used to:

<div>We are also collaborating with representatives of Association Clou de Girofle, who are currently on the ground in Toamasina and working directly with affected families to organize local relief efforts and ensure transparent and efficient distribution of your generous contributions.

<div>If the amount collected exceeds the priority needs of the identified families, the surplus will be entrusted to Association Clou de Girofle (47 rue de Chartres, 91400 Orsay, France), a solidarity association connected to the Malagasy community, to assist other affected families in Toamasina or to fund additional support initiatives locally.
