Hello Friends, Family, Acquaintances, Fellow Pet Lovers, and More,
As most of you know, we are very up front and frank people, so apologies for jumping right into this. This is an extremely trying time for us and our brevity is not the soul of our wit these days.
Over the last two months our only child, Bobby, the dachshund, has been having some serious medical issues. The bright, loving, rambunctious, snuggler began wandering into corners aimlessly, falling over when he walked, would suddenly yelp uncontrollably, wet himself daily, and countless other physically and emotionally taxing symptoms. After spending a fortune on many vet visits, blood tests, fecal and urine testing, x-rays, etc. etc. etc. We finally paid a hefty price to take Bob to a neurologist.
We recently found out that Bob either has a brain tumor or had a stroke. Bobby is only 8 years old, very young for a dachshund, and we NEED YOUR HELP to answer the necessary questions. In order to successfully diagnose which ailment it is requires some extremely pricey scans so that we can finally treat Bob and get him feeling like his old self again or give him the quality of life he deserves towards the end.
We do have pet insurance for Bob but these tests, scans, and medications have bled us dry. Kristy has taken on another day job with all of her other jobs and the restaurant that Josh works at is closing for business later this month. This is why things are so dire. If you are in anyway able to donate to assist us in getting Bob back on his feet (literally), it would mean the absolute world to us! It is quite literally an around the clock issue so if you’re not able to give monetarily, please hold Bob in your thoughts and forgive us for our lack of makeup and typical senses of humor.
