Iḷisaqativut 2019

Iḷisaqativut is a grassroots,  and community-driven opportunity to come together for two weeks with the express vision of becoming proficient in Iñupiaq as adult second-language learners, while building Iñupiat nationhood and relationships across Iñupiat Nunaat (Bering Straits, Northwest Arctic, Arctic Slope) and with our relatives across Alaska.

As an all-volunteer community collective, Iḷisaqativut belongs to the community, and is thusly supported by it. We invite community members to support the continued success of this program.

2017: Utqiaġvik (Barrow)
2018: Siqnasuaq (Nome)
2019: Qikiqtaġruk (Kotzebue)
