ILAC Hernia Mission Trip 6.0

Every year ILAC Mission welcomes volunteer doctors from the American Hernia Society, who offer a weeklong surgical program to benefit persons of scant resources from the rural communities attended to by ILAC.  

This November will mark the 16th trip by medical professionals to repair the hernias of the impoverished Dominican men, women and Children.  

I have been lucky enough to volunteer my skills as a nurse for 6 years and counting.     I will be at it again for the ILAC 2018 Hernia Mission working as a recovery room nurse   Together with my fellow volunteers we will be able to touch the lives of countless people who would otherwise not have access to the health care they need.  

This is where all of you come in.  As a volunteer program, we are responsible for our airfare and room and board.  I am reaching out to all of you once again to help me get to Santiago.  No amount donated is too small and will be appreciated beyond measure.
