Bill & Dottie Domer Family

NEW BRAUNFELS — William Domer spent four years in Afghanistan working as a Department of the Army civilian and didn’t quite make it home Saturday night.

Dorothy Domer had picked up her husband at the airport and was driving  him home to Seguin when their compact car was slammed into by a full-sized Ford van — just a mile and a half from their home.

The force of the impact in the 10:30 p.m. collision scattered pieces of both vehicles across State Highway 46 and lifeflighted the occupants of both to trauma centers with major or critical injuries.

Update: Dottie has undergone two surgerys to reset her pelvis and several bones.  She is in stable condition.  Bill is in critical condition and has undergone one surgery at the time of this writing.

The Domer children are overwhelmed and ask for your prayers for their parents.  Josh & Brittney are staying at the hospital with both parents while Tyler, Kaitlyn, and Liam are being cared for by  family friends.
