IIH Surgery and recovery cost

Donation protected
August of this year I was diagnosed with Idiopathic intracranial hypertension. I started treatment with medication and got a decent team of doctors set up. Medication started working and improvements were happening. But about a month ago I started regressing.

My medication was raised in dosage in hopes that it would help, unfortunately my vision continues to get worse. My Neuro Opthalmologist, Dr. Ami Shah Vira wants to perform optic nerve sheath fenestration on both of my eyes as well as put a stent into my transverse sinus veins.

Unfortunately for me, Dr Vira does not take insurance so I pay $150 a month to see her as much as I need. Because of this condition I have been forced to work only part time at my job. Recovery time for the stent is 2-3 weeks, and the fenestration would be about a week.

All around this means I will not be working for about a month. The money that would be received would go towards medical bills, medication, my half of the bills and food.

If you can't donate please share the link so I have a better chance at meeting my goal. It's just me and my husband and we've been pretty down on our luck recently with this new diagnosis and car troubles. Anything helps!
