NEED TO FIX HOUSE, SEPTIC SYSTEM CRAPPED OUT
We are trying to restore full water function to our house. Our septic system has failed and we are caught in a city ordinance nightmare. We are not allowed to fix the current septic system, we are required to hook up to the city sewer which will cost approx. $35,000.00. That doesn’t even include the railroad complication behind our house. They must allow us access before I can even start to make my children’s home livable again.
We are showering at the local gym and washing clothes at our friend’s houses. This has gone on for over 10 months and there is no end in sight. We have tried everything and can’t figure out anything. Life just doesn’t want to give my family a break. I work extra and save up and then bam a medical emergency. We are at the end of our rope.
To start this complicated and long process of getting a permit we need at least $3,500.00 just to ask the railroad for a permit. This part of the process will take at least 3 months. Then we have to go to the city which will take another 3 months plus. We have attorneys and engineers donating their time to help us or this would cost even more. If you can believe it.
This is our family home and we would like to stay here till we die. Please help us with whatever you can afford.
