Marcus Fund for Carly & Joey

From Michelle Marcus: A few days before Thanksgiving 2014, my 23 year old niece, Jessica Marcus, and her 28 year old fiancé, Jamie Desmarais, died in a tragic car accident. They were running an errand during a terrible rainstorm, when they lost control of the vehicle. The SUV spun into opposing lane traffic and was struck by a pickup truck and then overturned. Sadly, they were not wearing seatbelts and so they were both ejected from the car, sustaining fatal injuries. Left behind are Jessica and Jamie's children, Joey and Carly. These fraternal twins just turned one in early December. Their parents did not live to celebrate with them. Carly and Joey live in northern Florida, where family are working on figuring out the logistics of caring for these wonderful babies. For the first time in my life, I am reaching out for help, as it will indeed take a village to help raise these children. The twins' family has a lot of love, but not much money.
