Silas Hurd, New Medical Expenses

Hello friends, it has been 26 months since we had to ask for help with a gofundme campaign. That is because we only asked for community help while we transitioned to a new way of life after I had to quite my job to car for Silas' worsening Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome.
After getting on our feet we were able to support ourselves and over the last two years start projects that have supported many other families with children like Silas!
Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago, Silas was diagnosed with another serious health condition, Type One Diabetes. The diagnosis was difficult enough, but combined with Silas Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, it was immediately one of the most difficult things we've been through, and we've been through a lot. The developmental delays LGS causes make explaining the situation to Silas nearly impossible, the stress of having to have nurses hold him down for every shot started to increase seizures... The diets and ideal blood PH for diabetes conflicts with the ketone encouraging diets that benefit epileptics... The challenges are unique and surfacing in ways even the doctors are struggling with.
We were in the hospital for 5 days before we felt confident that Nicole and I cold hold him if need be to get his shots, but this is requiring even more time off work.
The insane medical deductibles / share of cost for insulin and supplies, which are going to be in the thousands, combined with lost income, weekly 2 hour round trip Dr. appointments, new dietary and medical supply expenses, all at their peak during the holidays has put in a position we do not like to be in, were we need to ask for help.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated while we once again try and transition to our new normal.
