People are living in fear and injustice every day of their lives just because of their darker skin color. They are seen as a threat just because of a characteristic they were born with and never chose.
This is a reality that has been happening around the world for ages, and the atrocious events that recently occurred in America have only reasserted this sickening truth.
No, this will not be another trend that gets buried when it is no longer in the hashtags. It is a very disturbing situation which needs to be addressed. Even if you are not experiencing it yourself, turning a blind eye on this matter is absolutely not acceptable, because it is costing precious innocent lives.
Together, we will stand in solidarity and fight for what is right, because no innocent human life deserves to be labeled as a threat. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can be of huge help to end the suffering of our black brothers and sisters.
Every voice counts. Let us scream for justice until our voices are finally heard and taken into account. If they still do not listen, let us scream until their ears bleed.
