Ignite MOORE Contemporary Theatrics First Season

Hi, my name is Daniel L. Moore. I’m the Artistic Director and Founder of MOORE Contemporary Theatrics, a new nonprofit dance company based in Maryland, but will be working in Washington, DC. I’m raising $10,000 to help launch our debut season, support our dancers, and bring our first production, Beneath the Sun—a bold reimagining of A Raisin in the Sun—to life through movement.

This funding will cover rehearsal space, dancer stipends, festival submissions, and production costs. We’re dedicated to reshaping the way Black theatrical legacy is honored in the world of dance. Your support helps us build something powerful from the ground up.
