There is a need for books that feature occupational therapists, adaptive physical education teachers, speech and language pathologists, special education teachers, counselors, psychologists!
Our classroom is always buzzing - we come to school everyday excited to learn. Our classroom has more than just general education teachers. All these fantastic people come in an out of our room every single day to support students. No matter what they need. So why don’t we have books that showcase all our different abilities? And why don’t we have books that show the superstars that make the school run like a well oiled machine?
Mrs. Terlop submitted this idea to a publisher and got a YES! This book is becoming a reality- and we need your help to make our bookshelf an inclusive space.
