Help Andrew to keep his hands

I m starting this campaigne with the goal of helping the Natali family to help there son to just be able to keep the use of his Hands .
Andrew has been diagnosed with Kienbock Disease a very rare disorder below is what Anja has written telling her friends...
"Just have to share my son was just diagnosed with kienbock disease it affects the luna bone in the hand/ wrist somehow the blood supply to the bone is lost and it dies.There are 4 stages and unfortunately he is at 3 already. He was going to be in his last year of a mechanical apprenticeship next year but will most likely not be able to finish it as his wrist and hand movements have become very stiff already .Kienbock disease is very rare I'm absolutely gutted he had such a promising career ahead of him."
As you can imagine this has been a gutwrenching blow for the family and especially to Andrew who is now facing a totally different future than what he thought he would have :-(

Just an update on my son's kienbock disease after seeing the specialist it has been decided that he needs a Proximal Row Carpectomy wich basically means he will loose 3 bones from his hand/wrist .Apparently this procedure will give him the best outcome .The specialist said he should be able to work as a mechanic for the next 15 to 20 years. It is still devastating as he only turns 23 this December . Hopefully by then there are more options available . We... also having to rush him into surgery privately as his kienbock disease is progressing very rapidly . He went from normal CT scan on the 25 th of July to his lunate bone being completely fractured in a CT scan only 4 month later. The specialist was shocked on how fast it progressed and told us to wait for the public system in his case is a huge risk.

"Unfortunately the operation will cost $6,500.00 its money we dont have and not to be able to do this for our son is devestating " the family states
An operation that can be performed asap will be able to save the use of Andrew s hands. I m hoping that people can recognise the family s plight, in a time when things are tough enough for most people, and help them out with a small donation ... lots of little bits can add up to a lot, and the window of opportunity is a narrow one in this case, so if you can find it in your heart to help even a little we would be so so greatful .Thank you for your consideration , Chris on behalf of Andrew s family :-)
