Hello everyone, friends and family. Creating a GoFundMe isn’t something that I have ever been willing to do. I’m not one to ask for handouts or anything of the sort. I gave birth to my sweet Levi on July 21st, 2025, and since he was about 6 days old, we’ve spent more time than not in the hospital with him. At the very beginning, he was failing to thrive. We finally made it past that, but during that 21-day stay, Levi had 4 or 5 seizures, as the doctors were calling it. On September 4th, around 9:30 am, Levi had a seizure that caused him to hold his breath to the point he was blue. Due to that episode, his neurologist was able to get us admitted to OU Children’s for long-term EEG monitoring. Well, now that Levi is on the seizure monitor, he won’t have a single episode for us. Now to me… after I gave birth, my placenta was sent for further testing due to some abnormal cells or something of the sort. When I got that result on my MyChart, I truly didn’t think anything of it. Well, I went to my 6-week postpartum follow-up, and my team informed me that I needed to do further testing due to the results on my placenta. I did that further testing and received a call on the results today, 9/11/2025. I have cervical cancer, and I have to get a biopsy on October 1st. Unfortunately, that was their soonest availability, but I will be called if there are any cancellations, which will allow me to be seen sooner.

So with all of this that you guys have read about myself and my sweet boy, my husband (Samuel) is unable to return to work as of right now. He is still on FMLA and can be out for up to 12 weeks. We will appreciate absolutely anything we receive, even if all you can afford is some kind words throughout this awful time for us
