If Only I Knew

Several years back, Alexandra Adriana (She is shy and wishes to remain anonymous for now) found the strength and courage to leave behind a 21-year marriage that had been growing increasingly painful. She left with the hope of creating a brighter future for herself and her children. The path was not smooth.

Plagued by psychological and financial abuse throughout the divorce, she found herself constantly defending her rights and those of her children. Valiant as her efforts were, it led her to the brink of emotional and physical exhaustion.

Turning inward, Alexandra began to find some solace through the therapeutic release provided by writing about her experiences within the marriage, from the beginning to its waning moments. Telling her story, first to herself, then gradually to those close to her, emerged as a testament of her strength and will to move on.

Family and friends have encouraged her to share her story to inspire others. Initially shy, she has come to the realization that story-telling has the power to build strength of spirit, incite action, and generate healing. Therefore, she is now seeking to raise funds with the hope that her story may be published and reach others with whom it will resonate and inspire change.
