Big Rig Runs Over Father Of Two

Donation protected
On December 3rd the day before my sisters 20th wedding anniversary life as they once knew it would change drastically from a traumatic incident. My brother-in-law had been hit and ran over by a big rig truck. My sister and nieces had no idea where Daniel was for 24 hours. Here are some of the details of what their lives were like during this time.
As per usual Daniel left for work, the girls for school, and Elysia to a vocational program that she had recently took upon. Usually everyone is home and dinner is served as soon as Daniel gets home. Considering the information Daniel shared about maybe having to stay later for work, Elysia didn't make the phone call to Daniel's boss until 8 PM. Once the conversation with his boss took place he confirmed that there was a lot to do at work and that he might've decided to stay in Livermore overnight especially since it was really stormy.
Thursday, December 4, their 20th wedding anniversary. The morning still functions as per usual, everyone with the exception of Daniel they all leave and start their day. Again expecting to see Daniel at six, he didn't come home. Only 15 minutes after the time he's expected to walk in Syrina (one of his girls) tells her mom to call work again. Daniel's supervisor then stated that he did leave on time the day before and that he didn't come to work that morning. At this point, panic sets in and Elysia & the girls start calling hospitals. The last phone number to try finally told them that Daniel was admitted and they transferred her to ICU. But other than the fact that he was in critical condition they wouldn't release any more information.
At least she located him and found her honey. Due to the fact that Daniel forgot his phone and that the family all had new numbers there was no way for them to reach each other. Once she is able to get more information she learned Daniel's ribs are all fractured, his pelvis is broken and he has bruised lungs and legs. The nurse also shared that he was conscious throughout the entirety of the situation. As of now the family learned from the hospital social worker that there'll be at least one year of rehabilitation needed.
Daniel is a chemical compounder at a place in Livermore. He  was adjusting to transportation ever since their car had broken down. We're in a predicament that is super vulnerable leaving all of them in a constant state of worry. We're not asking for much but any little bit helps. We're hoping for a speedy recovery but we also understand that he needs the time to heal correctly.
Everyone who knows Daniel knows that he works for and is all about his family. We need the word spread if not anything else. He jumps at the moment anyone needs him. He is the only provider of his family of four and we can't have them on the streets and with no place for him to go once he's ready to come home. Thank you for any contributions, thoughts, good energy and prayers that you may send our way we truly appreciate it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
