<div>We at Chepstow town Football club have had some devasting news recently that Iestyn has recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma and requires immediate treatment.

<div>This will stop him from working immediately and he requires our help and support on his journey to recovery.

<div>Iestyn aged 20 who lives for his football as a release from day to day life. He's been a key figure on and off the pitch over the last 2 season here at Larkfield Park and we're confident he will back doing what he does best playing football in no time at all in the new year. he has played the first few games of the season and been man of the match showing hes got the fight still despite having such challenging news personally.

<div>He's even told the Chairman he can wait to be back out there playing with his team mates. Moments like this are what singles Iestyn out for all his good qualities not wanting to be away from his football and being back on the pitch with his friends doing what he loves.

<div>As a club we felt the best way we could support him is to be there for him emotionally and financially as best we can through this very difficult time in his life.
</div>

<div>We aim to do this through the Go Fund Me and through events held at the football club with the funds all going to Iestyn himself.
</div>

<div>A genuinely nice lad who deserves every chance and opportunity to be able to focus on his recovery. His treatment is expected to take around 4 months and during this period he will be unable to work and bring in a living wage to provide for himself.

<div>We are looking for the support from fellow clubs in the footballing community and our close community here in Chepstow itself to support Iestyn through this very difficult period.

<div>Anything at all that you can spare so we can give Iestyn every chance in his treatment to focus on his health and not his finances.
