Tiffani and David's Family Dream

David and Tiffani's story is like a script from a movie. He was a football player and she was a cheerleader.  It was exciting and they were full of life. In 2003, they first started dating. There was a little sparkle in each of their eyes when they looked at each other, and it was obvious they were meant to be together for life.  They were  both great students, kind, friendly, fun, popular, and outgoing.  Basically enjoying high school at its best. They shared a lot of the same friends, enjoyed high school activities, working, going to parties with friends, and just hanging out. Both graduated from Richard King High School with honors in 2004. As they grew and matured their relationship grew. They started thinking of their life goals and what they wanted to achieve step by step.  As in all relationships, bumps happen and they had a bump. I look at this for them as life lessons, maturing and then saying let it go if they come back they were always yours.  In 2009 their relationship rekindled stronger than ever.  It was like you would never know they had ever been apart, and from then on they have been together. He's my son just as she is my daughter. Tiffani graduated in 2010 with a BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing). She then move back to Corpus Christi to be closer to her family, but we all know she moved back because David was here and they were of course wanting to start a life together.

Upon graduation, she started working at Driscoll Children's Hospital where she works full-time as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department caring for children. She just loves working and caring for children. David graduated from Texas A& M University- Corpus Christi in 2008 with an BA (Bachelors in Accounting).  He landed a job with State of Texas as an auditor. It was an honest and pure love and nothing was going to get in the way of them now. They were in this together for the long-haul. I had never seen them so secure and happy in their entire lives. I knew this was it for them. So here we go now they started setting their goals we have  to do this , next is this, then this , etc.  That's just the way they work planning one life goal at a time. (What the world could learn from this couple?)  One step at a time they bought a house. David proposed.  And the wedding began.  They were married on November 11, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was Beautiful.  Now on to the next goal Masters Degrees. Tiffani working on finishing school as a Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner and David finishing his degree, while of course enjoying life along the way. As planned Tiffani will graduate in December 2014 with her MSN (Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in primary care pediatric nurse practitioner). David will soon follow early 2015 with a MBA (Master degree in Business Administration). But as any grandparents Sandra and I definitely always made our remarks along with aunts, cousins, and friends about can the next goal be a baby.  I know they wanted children it just wasn't time yet. They wanted to do it right. That's the way they planned it.  As a mother you just know when your child wants and desires for something.  What is so special about Tiffani is that she has this from both myself and her other mom Sandra.  (I don't like mother-in-law). David is one of the strongest most loving men I ever met. He has helped push my daughter to stay strong and finish her goals. Both of them loving each other to the fullest every step of the way.

So to our surprise in October of 2013 Tiffani informed me they were going to prepare to conceive a baby. Oh my goodness we all were so extremely excited. I could see the glow. They were going for their ultimate goal. She was just beaming. Sadly then came disappointment after disappointment. They tried doing different kinds of treatments and medications. Went to different doctors and had different opinions. After changing doctors we found out that there was issues with my daughter. Come to find out she had 7cm cyst  on her ovary. Luckily they normally will dissolve on their own. Which it did. Thank the Lord. Come to find out that my baby girl's problem is that her ovaries do not do what they need to do to conceive a baby. In order to make her ovaries do what they are supposed to do they need a little extra help. This has lead to where we are today. In-vitro fertilization (IVF). Yikes. The cost is between $15,000.00 to $18,000.00. I wish it was in my power to fix everything and make everyone happy, but unfortunately I cannot fix this. I wish I could just write a check, but I can't. This is why I am seeking help for them. Please find it in your heart to help such a wonderful and loving young couple fulfill their dream. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. Have a blessed holiday season.
