idGROUP Canstruction 2017

idGROUP needs your help.  Our firm has entered CANstruction this year, an annual event that benefits the North Texas Food Bank.  We, along with a number of other local firms, will be designing a structure to be built entirely of canned goods.  After these structures have been displayed, the canned goods are turned over to the Food Bank.

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit hunger-relief organization.  Each Day, NTFB provides access to more than 170,000 meals for hungry children, seniors and families through a network of more than 1,000 programs and 200 Partner Agencies.

In fiscal year 2016, NTFB provided access to 70 million meals, but much work remains to be done.  To meet the current need for food assistance, NTFB has announced a ten-year plan to provide access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025 through a three-pillar strategy of community engagement, network expansion and client visibility.  The Food Bank operates its primary distribution center in South Dallas, with its administrative headquarters located in the Dallas Farmer Market.

What do we need from you?  Our can structure will require the purchase of thousands of canned goods, which must be purchased and then transported.  The most effective assistance we can receive from you in this endeavor will be financial.  We are looking for sponsorships at the $500 Platinum, $250 Gold, $125 Silver, $75 Bronze, $50 Friends of NTFB or Individual $25 levels. 

CANstruction displays will be on view at NorthPark Center starting Saturday September 9th until Sunday September 24th during normal mall hours.  Sponsors will be identified at each team’s display site.
