Ida Relief Event

Hurricane Ida tore through Southeast Louisiana less than a month ago. We all know how devastating a storm can be to our communities. South Louisiana is hurting and working to pick up the pieces. We are one here in the pelican state, united to make a difference.

LAPCS is partnering with public schools in Jefferson, Lafourche, and Terrebonne Parishes to raise awareness and funds to support families in need. We are currently seeking donations to buy school supplies and backpacks for students preparing to return to school in the coming weeks.

Many families lost everything. Every donation helps ease the burden for families rebuilding in our region. A gift of $10 will provide a filled pencil pouch, $25 will provide a full supply packet, and a $50 donation will provide a backpack filled with supplies.

LAPCS, in partnership with Children's Hospital, Line 4 Line, and Sophie B Wright High School, is headed to Terrebonne Parish on October 6, 2021, to provide hot meals, school supplies, and books. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and will go directly to those in need. Thank you.
