His passing came as a shock, first that he was diagnosed at all, and then because we thought we had more time with him. He lived at home with his parents, but was no slouch, doing much in the way of home maintenance. He worked tirelessly to detail cars at a local shop; you could say he was a perfectionist when it came to his job.
He was selective in the people he surrounded himself with, but was loyal to those he knew. Including his lifelong friend he met in grade school. It seemed like he was just settling in to his adult life, and sadly had just found his first real love before he was taken away.
His family was already struggling before his diagnosis and could use some help with the unexpected funeral expenses.
Or share a positive thought for his grieving mother.
