<div><strong> Kulturelle Teilhabe ist ein Menschenrecht!</strong>

<div><strong><a href="https://ickmachwelle.berlin" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ICK MACH WELLE</a></strong> ist ein Projekt zur Förderung von Künstler:innen mit Behinderung. Es wird seit 2018 vom Berliner Musiklabel KILLEKILL betrieben und wurde in der Vergangenheit gefördert von Aktion Mensch, dem Musicboard Berlin und der Initiative Musik.

<div>Wir betreiben in Berlin-Friedrichshain ein barrierearmes Studio mit angegliedertem Büro, in dem <strong>Workshops</strong>, <strong>Musikunterricht</strong> und Sessions stattfinden. Mit einem großen Netzwerk an Mentor:innen haben wir ein <strong>Mentoring-Programm</strong> aufgebaut, in dem wir junge Künstler:innen mit Behinderung mit etablierten Artists der Szene zusammenbringen. Hier wird Wissen weitergegeben, man lernt voneinander und oft entstehen gemeinsame Live Acts oder Bands.

<div>Inklusion wird bei uns viel größer gedacht als „Barrierefreiheit“ oder „Einbindung von Menschen mit Behinderung“. Wir nehmen die eigenen Ansätze unserer Teilnehmer:innen zum Ausgangspunkt und helfen ihnen beim Umsetzen ihrer <strong>Visionen</strong>. Es entsteht gemeinsame künstlerische Arbeit auf Augenhöhe - und quasi nebenbei echte, nachhaltige <strong>Vernetzung</strong> mit der lokalen Szene. Diese Herangehensweise führt zu einem neuen Selbstbewusstsein bei den beteiligten Künstler:innen. Sie werden zu Akteur:innen, ihre Perspektiven werden wahrgenommen, ihre Kunst wird geschätzt.

<div>Aktuell bestehen <strong>12 musikalische Projekte</strong>, DJs, Bands und Produzent:innen. Das musikalische Spektrum reicht dabei von brasilianischen Beats über House, Techno, Dub und Hip Hop bis hin zu super-experimentellen Audio/Video-Installationen. Auch die Erfolge lassen sich sehen: Es gab zahlreiche Releases sowie Auftritte in renommierten Clubs wie dem Berghain oder dem ://About.Blank und Shows bei Festivals wie Fusion, Berlinale, PopKultur, Nation of Gondwana. Nicht zuletzt gab es Künstler:innen-Residenzen in Berlin und Luzern sowie eine Nominierung beim deutschen Musikpreis Polyton 2024.

<div>Aufgrund der aktuellen Kürzungen im kulturellen Bereich ist die Existenz unseres Projektes akut in Gefahr. Seit März 2026 haben wir keinerlei Förderung. Alle Beteiligten arbeiten seitdem ehrenamtlich, die laufenden Kosten zahlen wir aus eigener Tasche. Wir stellen weiterhin fleissig Förderanträge und beantragen aktuell auch die Gemeinnützigkeit für unsere Firma, um unsere Chancen auf Förderung zu erhöhen. <div><strong>SPENDENZIELE:</strong>
</div>
<div>Mit den Spenden sollen die laufenden Kosten des Projekts gedeckt werden, bis wir andere Finanzierungen gefunden haben. Dazu gehören Miete für Studio und Büro, Verwaltungskosten, Honorare für die Mentor:innen, für die Begleitung bei Auftritten sowie für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.

<div>Cultural participation is a human right!

</div>
<div><strong>ICK MACH WELLE</strong> is a project that supports artists with disabilities. It was initiated in 2018 by the Berlin music label KILLEKILL and has previously been funded by Aktion Mensch, Musicboard Berlin, and Initiative Musik.

<div>We operate a low-barrier studio and an office in Berlin-Friedrichshain, where <strong>workshops</strong>, <strong>music lessons</strong>, and recording sessions take place. With a large network of mentors, we have built a <strong>mentoring program</strong> that connects young artists with disabilities with established artists from the Berlin scene. Knowledge is shared, people learn from one another, and joint live acts or bands often emerge.

<div>For us, inclusion is understood in a much broader sense than just “accessibility” or “including people with disabilities.” We take the participants’ own artistic approaches as a starting point and support them in realizing their <strong>visions</strong>. What emerges is collaborative artistic work on equal footing — as well as genuine, sustainable <strong>networking</strong> with the local scene. This approach fosters a new sense of self-confidence among the participating artists. They become active contributors, their perspectives are heard, and their art is valued.

<div>Currently, there are <strong>12 musical projects</strong>, DJs, bands, and producers. The musical spectrum reflects the diversity of the contributing artists and ranges from Brazilian beats to techno, from dub to house, and from hip hop to highly experimental audio/video installations.
</div>
<div>The achievements are significant: numerous releases and performances have taken place in renowned clubs such as Berghain or ://about blank, as well as shows at festivals like Fusion, Berlinale, PopKultur, and Nation of Gondwana. In addition, there have been artist residencies in Berlin and Lucerne, as well as a nomination for the German music award Polyton in 2024.

<div>Due to current cuts in the cultural sector, the existence of our project is in acute danger. Since March 2026, we have had no funding. All contributors have been working on a voluntary basis since then, and we cover ongoing costs out of our own pockets. We continue to actively apply for funding and are currently also applying for non-profit status for our organization in order to improve our chances of receiving support. <div>Donations will be used to cover the ongoing costs of the project until we secure other funding sources. This includes rent for the studio and office, administrative costs, fees for mentors, support for live performances, and public relations work.

<div>BASIC PROJECT STABILITY: €40,000 – rent and continued operation of all musical projects
