Hi there! My name is Thiago and I am a super duper pawesome guy that is hopefully going to be given back a superpower :-)
A little about myself: I am about eleven years young and ended up in the doggie jail in May 2014 along with my younger siblings. One by one they got rescued & so did I, right as I hit the dreaded euthanasia list (phew! Thanks so much, Reefuge Rescue. You guys rock). My foster folks took me for a vet appointment and found out that there was a double meaning in my sweetness since I was completely blind due to my untreated diabetes. Fast forward some months: my status changed to adopted as my parents and my furry siblings fell in love with me (who can blame them for this foster failure? I am ridiculously adorable), I am out of the woods and my diabetes is being monitored by two shots of insulin a day but my cataracts need to de addressed as there are complications arising from it that would lead to glaucoma... Turns out that the cataracts can be corrected by surgery, which will also give my eyesight back!!! Our gang is doing a fundraising to help pay for the procedure. Any amount helps, and we are throwing in a personalized leather collar or a harness for every donation of $35 or up.
