<div>Vor einigen Monaten hatte ich einen schweren, unverschuldeten Unfall: Oberschenkelhalsbruch, Jochbeinbruch, zwei Zähne verloren und drei gesplittert, linkes Handgelenk und Knie nachhaltig beschädigt.

<div>Ich lebe in Mexiko und arbeite als freiberuflicher Journalist, der Reportagen für verschiedene deutsche Medien schreibt. Krankenversicherung habe ich keine - als freier Autor mit unregelmäßigen Einnahmen war schlicht kein Geld dafür da. Die notwendige OP am Oberschenkelhals habe ich also aus eigener Tasche bezahlt. Das hat meine ohnehin prekäre finanzielle Situation massiv belastet.

<div>Alles Weitere (Untersuchungen am Handgelenk, am Knie sowie zahnärztliche Behandlungen) ist nachrangig und nicht so dringend, würde aber, wenn möglich, zumindest einmal abgeklärt werden. Falls mehr zusammenkommt, fließt es direkt in die hierfür nötigen Behandlungen.
