On May 28th, 2026, she was detained by ICE in Asheville, North Carolina, and transferred to the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia. Today, she faces an uncertain future while fighting to remain in the U.S., the only home she has ever known.

 Fortunately, Claudia has secured experienced legal representation. However, the mounting legal expenses are overwhelming, especially while continuing to provide for her young U.S. citizen son.

 For 26 years, Claudia has built her life in the United States. She went to school, graduated, worked hard, and devoted herself to raising her son. Now, she faces the heartbreaking possibility of being permanently separated from the child who depends on her for love, guidance, and financial stability.
