<div>My husband, Mario  Fajardo , was detained by ICE while we were leaving our home to go to work, like any normal, hardworking family. I was right there with him. Our 3-month-old baby was in my arms. In just a few moments, my children’s father was taken away from us.

<div>He has no criminal record.
</div>
<div>He had no deportation order.
</div>
<div>He was doing everything the right way.

<div>Since 2022, Mario has been the provider for our family. He is a loving, present, and responsible father. Together we are raising three daughters:

<div>•	a 6-year-old,
</div>
<div>•	and a 3-month-old baby, who now cries and reaches for a father who is no longer home.

<div>Today, I am completely alone, trying to survive with three children and no income. My daughters ask me every day,

<div>I don’t know how to explain to them that even when you do everything right, ICE can still destroy a family without mercy.

<div>Along with the emotional pain, we are now facing a terrifying reality:

<div>•	I don’t know how I will buy food
</div>
<div>•	I don’t know how I will afford diapers and formula

<div>•	And now we must also pay thousands of dollars in legal fees, because fighting for my husband’s freedom has a cost we cannot afford alone

<div>We are not asking for luxury.

<div>We are asking for justice.

<div>We are fighting so that Mario can be released, so he can hug his daughters again, so our baby can grow up with her father, and so we can return to the honest, peaceful life we built in this country.

<div>Mi esposo, Mario Eduardo Fajardo Avilés, fue detenido por ICE cuando salíamos de nuestra casa para ir a trabajar, como cualquier familia normal. Yo estaba con él. Nuestro bebé de solo 3 meses estaba en mis brazos. En segundos, frente a mí y frente a nuestras hijas, me arrancaron al padre de mis niñas.

<div>No tenía orden de deportación.

<div>No estaba huyendo. Estaba haciendo las cosas bien.

<div>Desde el año 2022, Mario ha trabajado honestamente para sostener a nuestra familia. Él es un padre presente, amoroso y responsable. Juntos criamos a tres niñas:
