Send 50 Youth 2 Ice Skating School

Hello! I'm raising funds to send 50 disadvantaged youth located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to Ice Skating School. All the proceeds will go towards Beginner Skating Lessons (5 classes). Lessons will take place in summer 2022 at the Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center located in Dallas, Texas.

 

The lessons are $75 each/person, which includes free skate rental on class day, free admission to all public sessions, and three guest passes for public sessions.

WHY THIS FUNDRAISER?

 

I've been ice skating since I was seven years old. I'm now 17-years old and still skating away. I'm currently part of the synchronized skating team at the Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center. I've enjoyed being a part of this sport and have learned so much. Teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship are just a few of the skills I've learned. My goal is to provide the same opportunity to disadvantaged youth of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

I'm also donating all proceeds from my bake shop sales, Calista Grace Bakes, a Dallas-Fort Worth-based cottage bakery, to this fundraiser. Since 2021, I've had the pleasure of creating baked from scratch sweet treats for local businesses, family, and friends. It's been a wonderful and rewarding experience. I am truly thankful for the opportunity. Along with bake sales, I'm also hosting monthly virtual baking classes where I teach how to make scrumptious baked goods like polvorones, eclairs and more!
