level the playing field-need lawyer

I'm supposed to share my story here.  The hard part is that anything on the internet is forever and my son will grow up one day and read this. So without the gory details, I will say that I am struggling to protect him. I am a single mom trying to raise my son. I am trying to instill good morals, compassion for all beings, and the ability to live and happy and successful life.  It's unbelievably hard; so much harder than I ever could have thought possible. My son is extraordinarily sensitive and I am constantly trying to learn how to help him navigate this  difficult world.   As a single parent I have always managed to financially break even, but the huge expense of hiring a lawyer is beyond my reach. I have faced my son's father and his lawyer in court and cannot do this alone any longer. His dad has spent upwards of $7000 in legal fees while paying minimal child support.  I cannot financially compete with that. I am asking you to help me to level the playing field. I am asking you to help my son get justice and protection. 

My son deserves legal protection.  
My son deserves a lawyer to speak for HIM.  
He deserves compassion and consideration when the decisions made now will affect him for the rest of his life.
