IBEM's Mission Trip to Peru 2015

If you ever visit Iglesia Bautista Evangelica de Macoris in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, you will read the words, Id y hacer discipulos, on the wall of the auditorium. Under these words of Jesus (Go and make disciples, in English) are pictures of the missionaries IBEM supports financially and prayerfully. One of these missionary families, the Araujo family serving in Arequipa, Peru, IBEM has also been able to partner with physically.
This August fifteen members of the IBEM family will fly from the Dominican Republic to Peru to spend ten days serving the Araujo family and serving their community alongside them as they do hard and important work: building and cultivating relationships while planting churches and training up leaders in communities in and around Arequipa through a seminary program. This will be IBEM's second trip to Peru and we are excited to continue to grow this relationship and to witness the work God is doing in Arequipa.
Every member of the team is making sacrifices to be able to afford the cost of the trip ($1,500 US per person*) and still we fall so short. The beautiful news of the gospel, though, is that no matter how short we fall, there is hope. We humbly ask that you would consider parterning with us prayerfully and financially as we partner with the Araujo family in their work to Go and make disciples in Arequipa, Peru.
No good work is done alone. We go in the power of the Holy Spirit, with the support of our IBEM family, and the support of the global Church.
*All donations will be divided equally between all 15 members of the team.
