IBC Mission Trip of 2020

IBC is a school that offers a 10-month missionary training each year for students from Central America, South America, and the United States. The students receive classes in the areas of theology, health, leadership, and they work in agriculture, Kitchen, the health department and in a bilingual school, so that at the end of the course they are trained to work different areas where they can serve people, meet their needs, and present Jesus Christ as their Savior.
This year, IBC has hosted students from Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Three months before finishing the course, the students are preparing for their 2-week mission trip in November. Every year the mission trip takes place in a foreign country, but this year, because of the situation we are facing worldwide, the Lord has given them the opportunity to bless, through service, a community which is close to the mission school, called "La Danta", where they want to carry out activities oriented to health, such as nutrition talks, massages, hydrotherapy, health expo, etc., and also activities oriented to the spiritual life, such as evangelistic campaigns and house-to-house visits . Some members of the ministry have been visiting, giving Bible studies, and organizing evangelistic services in that community for over 2 years. Several people have heard the message of salvation found in the Bible. The goal is to organize a group and raise a new church in that community, in such a way that the light of truth can permanently shine on the people there.
To this end, the IBC students have joined efforts for several months to raise funds and be able to cover the costs of transportation and food during the 2 weeks in La Danta, and also to start building a temple there, which would be a blessing for the meetings and the Bible studies that take place in this community.
Although the students have worked hard, they are still far from reaching the goal to be able to carry out this missionary activity, that is why they are making their project public to reach everyone who has the willingness and the possibility to collaborate with them.
