At 43 years old, Curtis Martin is beginning the fight for his life and needs our help!
After a year and a half of unexplained sicknesses, he was recently diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the appendix, a rare form of cancer originating in the appendix and now spread to his omentum and around other organs. On Thursday, December 11th, Curtis will have a port put in to begin aggressive chemo on December 17th. He will start with chemo every other week for 12 weeks and then have an MRI scan to check the progress. Curtis will then go through another 6 weeks of chemo. In 6 months, doctors hope the cancer will shrink enough so they can perform some clean up surgery.
