In memory of Nick (Ianunderhill)

Donation protected
On August 22nd, the world was lessened by the passing of Nick Keiser due to complications arising from his fight with Signet Cell Carcinoma.

Nick, aka ianunderhill, was a wonderful member of the Gamers With Jobs community on our games, forums and chat. He was one of our own, and we wanted to do something to show our love and appreciation for his involvement in our community.

To further honour his desire to actively take part in cancer research, we've put together this page to collect contributions so that they may be submitted as one donation to the Alla Bogomolnaya Fund for Colon Cancer in memory of Nick. This particular fund is doing research specifically on signet cell carcinoma, so we felt this was the best way we could help the cause.

A good portion of his treatment was received at the Rush University Medical Center, so one of the contribution options allows for a portion of your donation to go towards these wonderful people so they may continue their work in cancer treatment and research. You can also directly donate to Rush University Medical Center here.

Nick was also actively involved in FreeGeek Chicago, which helps disadvantaged people build and buy computers. We'd like to honor his work with them by having the option available to make a portion of your donation here go to FreeGeek on his behalf. You can also directly donate to FreeGeek Chicago here.

Hopefully, we can reach our goal. If we happen to surpass it, the donations will continue stay open until activity slows down. Otherwise, the donations will stay open until October 1st, 2013.
