Ian's Trip To Israel!

Dear Family and Friends,
Previously this year I had the opportunity to take a theology course while at Concordia University. After talking with my professor on a couple of occasions, he told me of a yearly trip to Israel that is organized by the university and strongly encouraged me to go. I began looking into the trip and soon discovered that a local church my family has been involved with was also planning a trip. The pastor of this church invited me to come along and expressed that he would very much like to help instill a heart for Israel in the younger generation. And since I was personally invited and strongly encouraged by both my pastor and professor, I made the decision to try and make the trip to Israel.
During the trip I will be travelling around the country with a group led by the pastor I have mentioned above. We will have the opportunity to meet with members of the Israeli parliament and possibly with the Israeli Prime Minister. Of course the group will also be visiting many historical and religious sites throughout our time there. In addition to the standard sightseeing that is expected of a trip of this sort, the group I will be part of will be involved in work to promote peace in multiple locations in Israel.
As I am sure you know, trips of this nature are not without cost. This particular trip will cost over $3,500 for a 10 day excursion. I am asking for donations to help me cover the expenses of the trip. If you are able to contribute, I would be incredibly grateful. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
