Ian & Michelle: Good Times Fund

Ian and Michelle Hewitt are wonderful and have influenced so many people's lives in positive ways. As many of you know Michelle has been living with primary progressive MS for the past 9 years, and a few weeks back Ian, who has been her primary caregiver since her diagnosis, was diagnosed with terminal stage four esophageal and pancreatic cancer. He has been given a year to 18 months but of course is planning on sticking around for much longer that that! This all sucks on multiple levels, but, being Michelle and Ian, they are taking this all in stride.

In a chat with Pearson College students from Year 24, we all decided that although we are all over the world and may not be able to visit Ian and Michelle in Kelowna, we wanted to do something that would help contribute to the things Ian loves... Guiness, ice cream, hanging out with Deefer and Lacey (and Michelle of course), geocaching, trips to visit grandkids and other adventures...  Funds raised will all go to Michelle and Ian to do with as they see fit.

Ian is on a bi-weekly chemo schedule right now so in Michelle's words "keeping him eating is the biggest job we have!"
