Our 38 year old son, Ian Jablonskis, found out at Christmas time that he had cancer in the mouth, throat, and lymph nodes. He and his wife, Cristina, are the parents of an active two-year-old son, Liam. Ian had to leave his work and be away from the family for six weeks while he completed radiation and chemo at Shand's hospital. Even though the treatment had painful side effects, we thought everything was progressing until he had to be admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and because of extremely painful swallowing a feeding tube had to be started.
Ian now faces six more weeks of recovery, and he will have to begin an unpaid leave which means that there will be NO INCOME COMING from Ian. The household expenses will continue, along with the costs of medical expenses, and special supplements for the feeding tube.
It is hard to see your son face such pain and such great expenses. He no longer looks like the glowing father in the picture above. We never expected something like this to happen to our family. Everyone who has ever met Ian says he is the most wonderful young man. He never smoked, and it is still a mystery of WHY. WHY DID HE GET CANCER? So we face the future, believing that Ian will beat this cancer, and that he will soon be able to be back at work, supporting his family.
Until then... He needs your help. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated. Please remember Ian in your prayers, and please contribute to help this wonderful man to return to living a healthy life with his family. If you have any questions, please message me.
