Ian & Christin's fire fund

At 3 A.M. on Sunday morning, Ian and Christin woke up to their neighbors frantically banging and screaming on the front windows of their home. A massive fire (Nuns Fire), part of the number of wildfires in Northern California, was approaching at rapid speed up the hill towards their Glen Ellen home. The two were forced to evacuate instantly with only the clothes on their back and their dog, Sheena. Luckily they escaped in time and have described an apocalyptic scenario getting out of the area unharmed. Unfortunately, their home and everything along with it was completely destroyed. Ian, who is an exceptionally talented artist lost his entire collection of art, which spans over a decade and includes paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture and various other mediums. This will undoubtedly be a long, reflective and challenging time for the two as they attempt to find a new home and normalcy in an area of Northern California that already suffered from a housing crisis even before the displacement of these disastrous fires.

 
At this time we want to assist them with getting back on their feet, finding a new home and easing the stress that the situation has brought upon them. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. If money is tight, please feel free to contact me directly for information on donating clothes and other items.

This will assist Ian and Christin in finding perminent residence. This will require in most cases a substantial deposit, and first and last months rent. Especially in this area of Northern California and with the displacement of 1000's of people it will only be more difficult. Also, all their possessions are  gone so they will need basic household items. All the money will go directly to Ian and Christin.
