I Am Not My Mask for Darrell Carter

On September 1, 2014 Darrell A. Carter aka "Jack" revealed to social media that he had been diagnosed with this “thing” called Cancer-Multiple Myeloma (Bone Marrow Cancer).  Without the love of God and God being the of head of his life; his faith and belief is even stronger than ever against this battle.  Darrell keeps four thousand friends on Facebook informed about this “thing” called Cancer.  It is very humbling and inspiring as a family member to see his strength in informing others of this battle.  It is also touching to see the overwhelming responses he receives daily on his  life.  Jack is a Father of three, a Friend to Many, a Family Man to All, and an Officer in the Military.  He is loved and supported by so many that we would like to show our love by helping him with his medical expenses for this “thing” called Cancer.  This will take away one less stress to worry about so that we can all celebrate together with him fulfilling his plans of seeing his son fulfill his dreams, walk his baby girl down the aisle, and seeing Braylon become a productive adult.  Some of Jack's close friends say he missed his true calling-- working with children.  For nearly 15 years he has assisted in various sports programs in his hometown of Greenwood and his home away from home Hattiesburg, Miss.  He has coached t-ball, baseball, football and basketball for community leagues.  Distance, time and not even illness has not hindered Coach Jack from supporting the children....
